The Sisters will complete the visa process in India by August 23.  They will leave India August 28 arriving in Syracuse August 29.  They will spend several days at the Watertown convent.  The tree Sisters, who will live in Cadyville, will arrive early September.  They ask for flexibility as to the actual travel dates.  We so look forward to welcoming the Sisters!

AMOS SORRELL AND MORRISONVILLE CONSTRUCTION for removing many of the old pine trees in St. Alexander's Magdala Solitude.  Our Cemetery looks beautiful!  Great job Amos and crew!

GLENN BURDO AND RAND HILL LAWNS for removing the shrubs in front of St. Alexander's Church which were causing major problems to the front planters.  Thanks, Glenn and crew for your gift of time and talent!

MICHAEL HAMILTON, son of Thomas and Michelle Hamilton, has begun studies for the Priesthood of our Diocese oat the Pontifical College Josephinum in Columbus, Ohio.  St. Alexander's is very proud of Michael.  Pray that other young men answer the call of Jesus to follow Him in lives dedicated to service in HIs Church.

COLLINS OBITU, who has been with us for several weeks discerning a vocation to the Priesthood for our Diocese, left to return home to Nigeria last Wednesday.  We await his return, following necessary immigration paper work, to begin seminary studies.  Last week, Fathers Scott, Gordon & Reamer took Collins on a visit to Guggenheim Summer Camp at Saranac Lake and around Lake Placid where he saw snow for the first time!  He's been warned that there is more snow around here in winter than is in the picture.
