Bereavement Committee

Bereavement - Families are assisted at the time of death of their loved one with a parish visit to plan the funeral liturgies, to offer a luncheon following the funeral.  An annual memorial service is celebrated on All Souls Day with a reception to follow hosted by the Bereavement Committee which consists of 11-14 volunteers.  Bereavement support was offered to 43 families with 20 funeral luncheons for 2018     

This group of parishioners are available to assist a family when they experience the death of one of their members.  Any one or more of the following services is available:

  • Help in planning the funeral liturgy
  • Preparation of a funeral luncheon
  • Preparation of a reception for the yearly memorial service in memory of those during the year at the parish's All Soul Service.
